The Embassy of Switzerland presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and has the honour to inform it of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship offer for the academic year 2026–2027.

Prospective candidates may apply for:

–              Arts Scholarships

–              PhD Scholarships

–              Postdoctoral Scholarships

–              Research Scholarships

Opening of the call: 01.09.2025

Submission deadline: 01.12.2025

From this year onwards, the application procedure will be carried out entirely online:

The application platform for Slovenia will be open as of 1 September 2025.

The Embassy of Switzerland will act as the first point of contact for candidates in Slovenia and will verify the completeness and eligibility of the applications before forwarding them electronically to the ESKAS Secretariat.
