Academic Affairs Committee

Duties

• handling academic and student-related matters at the first and second cycle,
• making decisions on appeals for a fifth examination attempt,
• carrying out long-term tasks linked to development of faculty study programmes and study technologies at the first and second cycle (full-time and part-time programmes),
• proposing new study programmes at the first and second cycle, as well as amendments to existing ones,
• proposing to the faculty senate calls for enrolment to first- and second-cycle study programmes, and preparing proposals on enrolment restrictions,
• preparing efficiency analyses of study programmes, proposing suggestions and measures for modernising faculty studies and improving efficiency,
• monitoring and providing initiatives for improvements to pedagogical work,
• supervising the execution of organized academic work, assessing academic achievements, and ensuring the implementation of schedules,
• proposing to the faculty senate rules and regulations for first- and second-cycle programmes pertaining to the study order, final theses, programme transfers, accelerated advancements, etc.
• managing, directing and supervising the practical education of students,
• preparing criteria for awards and recognitions handed to students of the faculty,
• proposing to the faculty senate candidates for awards and recognitions from the pedagogical field.

Applications for the Academic Affairs Committee are filed via the Student Information System (ŠIS). Once submitted, applications will be processed according to the sessions calendar.
