Frequently asked questions
Should I worry about the safety of my identity?
The system we use to track visits cannot discover your identity. We also have no connections with external providers (i.e., Facebook and Google) that could potentially identify you.
All data processed by the system is anonymised before usage. The system does not record IP numbers, so these cannot be misused either.
Is gathered data shared with third parties?
The data is collected on our own server. It is therefore visible only to us. It is not shared with any third parties.
Why do you collect your visitors’ data?
We would like to know what content on the website interests you, so that we may use the information gathered by our system to improve the website’s functionality for our visitors. The data is not collected for marketing or sales purposes.
For tracking, we use the MATOMO_SESSID cookie. This cookie tells us what content a visitor has viewed during their visit. The MATOMO_SESSID cookie is deleted when you close your browser window. We use no cookies that would track you after your visit to our website and potentially compromise your security and privacy.
Can I disable tracking?
If your browser has a ‘do-not-track’ mode enabled, we respect your choice and will not track your visit. Even so, you can turn off tracking at any time. To do this, go to website settings and under Tracking, select the ‘reject’ option.
