To realize accessibility requirements, some adjustments have been made on a systemic level; namely:

  • responsive design (the layout of the content adapts to the user’s resolution),
  • accessibility of content for users of assistive technologies (i.e. screen readers),
  • keyboard navigation (option for users who cannot use a computer mouse),
  • choice of colour theme (adjusting contrast between the text and background),
  • choice of font type (bold),
  • focus highlighting,
  • predictable website performance,
  • ability to equip images with alternative text,
  • ability to use different heading levels.

The website is partially compliant with the Website and Mobile Application Accessibility Act in consequence of the exceptions listed below:

Inaccessible Content

The accessibility of the website is monitored in a continuous manner, and individual accessibility features are improved upon on an ongoing basis. Some of the published content nevertheless does not meet all of the accessibility requirements determined by the Website and Mobile Application Accessibility Act.

Examples of such content are listed below:

  • scanned documents in a PDF format,
  • various datatables,
  • photos, videos and various graphic elements, which are not always equipped with alternative text.
