Research in Art I

  • Workload

At its initial stage, Research in Art I provides doctoral students with a reflective and systematic insight into the methodological nature and methodological features of the research work in the area of art. In this respect, the course is designed as the introduction to Research in Art II, whose basic aim is of an applicative, i.e., area-specific nature.

The course provides an insight into the internal nature of phenomena such as problem situation, formulation of research problems and hypotheses, design and performance of an individual artistic research project, evaluation of the research results, presentation of the research results to the professional public, etc. The course is taken by the students from all study fields of the programme.
