Habilitation Committee
The Habilitation Committee decides on matters within its competence at its sessions and, exceptionally, at ad-hoc, i.e. correspondence meetings over e-mail. Regular sessions are typically held on a monthly basis, on Tuesdays of the week before the UL FA Senate.

Duties
- assessing applications during the election process of candidates to the titles of Higher Education Teacher or Adviser (visokošolski učitelj in sodelavec), Researcher (znanstveni delavec), and Research Associate (raziskovalni sodelavec), as well as applications for PPUD, in accordance with the University of Ljubljana Statutes.
- ensuring standardized application of criteria for election to the title and acquisition of PPUD (“award for important works of art”),
- assessing candidates’ applications and advising them on potential alterations,
- proposing to the senate the appointment of an expert committee for an expert assessment of a candidate’s qualifications in the election process to the title or acquisition of PPUD,
- performing other tasks determined by the Dean or the faculty senate..
