Definition of the basic concepts of the subject. Natural, cultural and urban landscapes. Recognition of the importance of reading open space through an understanding of the basics of architectural and landscape design. Space and the context of landscape. Exploration of the basic elements and assemblages of open space through the use of architectural drawing – sketching.
