Institute of Architecture and Physical Planning
The Institute of Architecture and Physical Planning functions as an independent organisational unit within the Faculty of Architecture. It combines the research work of the Faculty, i.e. its researchers, as well as research associates of the Faculty from any of its departments.

Work and Organization
Research work is organised by project leaders and co-financed by users of the research, ranging from local and national organisations to European projects. Depending on the objectives of an individual project, the Faculty of Architecture may thus connect the work of the Institute to the wider research and cultural context and to a wide range of audiences. Students in the final years of the master’s programmes in architecture and urban planning, and especially those in the doctoral programme, are also involved in research work.
