6. What options are there for connections abroad
The Faculty of Architecture at the University of Ljubljana is renowned at an international level, offering both students and staff various opportunities outside of Slovenia.
Students can join exchange programmes or apply for internships abroad (through programmes such as Erasmus+). The faculty exchange network includes over 70 partner faculties; however, exchanges can also be arranged with institutions of your own choice.
Our faculty hosts guest lectures given by internationally recognized professors from foreign universities. We also organise international workshops and professional excursions, where architecture can be physically experienced and discussed on a professional level alongside mentors, who also attend the excursions.
Finally, the vast range of skills acquired during their programmes grants students employability beyond their own country, since the programmes offered by our faculty enjoy international recognition and respect.
