Elective modules EMŠA
With the revised programme, elective courses are divided into Group A and Group B. All courses are assigned to one of six study modules. In the 4th year, students select and attend one (1) course from Group A from any module (12 Group A courses are available). In the 5th year, students select and attend two (2) courses from Group A from any module (12 Group A courses are available) and three (3) courses from Group B (30 courses in total).
The Senate of UL FA, at its 35th regular session held on January 13, 2026, adopted the following resolutions No. 3.6 and 3.7:
Resolution No. 3.6:
The Senate of UL FA unanimously adopts the decision that the selection of courses from groups A and B of the Integrated Master’s Study Programme in Architecture is open to all students. Students do not select a module.
The adopted decision is valid for 2 years, i.e. up to and including the 2027/2028 academic year. Upon expiry of this decision, the Senate of UL FA will either extend its validity or amend its content.
Resolution No. 3.7:
The Senate of UL FA unanimously adopts the decision that a student who, in the 4th and 5th year, completes at least 4 courses from the same elective module shall be issued a special certificate confirming completion of that module.
